I am currently reading Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane and I cannot put it down! It is so good, and so different from anything I've read lately. I want to go see the movie when my boyfriend is here for his spring break next week, but I always like reading the books first!
I wore my black velvet dress today, channeling, in a way, the old fashioned and sinister feelings I'm getting from the book. I added my ochre tights (I wish so bad that they were not footless...but that's the only kind they had in this color), and my cute plaid flats (that I got for 75% off at Target!).

I went for brown accessories with this gorgeous ring and tortoise shell barrette.
Tomorrow is my long day - 9am to 8:30pm at school...sigh, not looking forward to it...but hopefully it will give me time to catch up on studying and the like during breaks. How exhilarating. Not.
I am excited to plant flowers this spring...I think I'm going to channel my new found love for gardening into lots and lots of gorgeous floral prints and motifs...(and, well, gardening, obviously).

I agree, I totally don't get the footless tights thing. I think it's something to do with thinking leggings and tights are the same - a man must have designed it (I can't seem to get my husband to grasp the concept!).
