Today I received a rather sweet email inquiring about the photo I used for my "contact" button. The reader wanted to know where she could find the entire post dedicated to that outfit. However, when I took those photos back in April, I never liked them enough to share in a post. Today's email, though, made me rethink that decision.
I was playing around in a picture-editing program and stumbled upon this artsy effect. It instantly reminded me of the illustrations I loved so in the chapter books I read during elementary school. This effect paired with the hopeful colors of spring have got me daydreaming about warm weather, green grass, and cat naps in the sun.

You look great as an illustration...it fits somehow. :) Sometimes I think that it would be great if all of like could be illustrated like a book. Cartoons are so much simpler.
