Since I've moved to Door County I have had some of the most fun I've ever had in my life, however I'd have to say that the few days that B, of Sea Creatures, visited me were the best of all. We ate good food, stayed out way too late, took pretty pictures, and grew tenfold as friends.
I am lucky that B is so good at telling stories. If you're interested in a more detailed account of our adventures, check out her beautiful blog. Here is a snippet...
"and Indy and I talked about all the many things that had happened since we last saw each other.
and as i was sitting there, hearing about the locals, in this crazy, kitschy tavern, it all suddenly struck me how movie-like this all felt.
it was so surreal, and i can't really explain it. maybe it was the familiarity indy had with the people there, or the nature of the conversation, or the simple fact that i was an unknown visitor. i loved how i felt taken in by the whole place, and it had only been an hour or so.
i could tell already that this place was going to be trouble.
trouble of the very best kind."
